Problem connecting DVD player to TV/VCR Combo?

SupaJ016

I recently inherited an old Panasonic Omnivision VCR Plus TV/VCR combo. I just plugged it in, set up the channels and stuck in a VHS tape. It works. Intending to set this up in a spare room for guests, I thought it would be nice to connect a DVD player to this as well. The TV only has two jacks on the front though: one video and one audio input. So, I plugged in these cables and connected them to the corresponding video and audio outputs on the DVD player. I get a picture but...no sound. Is there anything I can do to fix this??

Thank you.

Answer
You can convert vhs to a dvd , then play the dvd on DVD Player, here are two methods to convert VHS to DVD.
1. use dvd recorder: not need vcr and software, just record videos from vhs to dvd.
here is a guide: http://www.dvdvideosoftware.org/guide/top-7-dvd-recorder-vhs-vcr-combinations.html

2. use VCR and Software, connecting video cables, installing software, burning DVD's.
