best dvd player vcr combo image

Joe H
Might be a dumb question, but I want to use a combo dvd player/VCR in my top dresser drawer with the drawer closed. I would cut a hole in the back for the wires. Would the heat cause any problems/hazards? Thank you.
Answer
Check the owners manual, I am fairly certain near the front it will instruct you on what not to do, or at least what could be hazardous. I would suggest that source is better than any of our opinions.

How do you record tv shows on a dvd player that has dvd rw?

Rachael
I have a vcr dvd combo player and i record my tv shows i miss. Since my dvd player has a dvd-rw feature, could i record my tv shows through my dvd player if my vcr were to go out?
Answer
Only if your DVD player is a DVD recorder. If DVD-RW is listed as a feature, it could only mean that it plays DVD-RW discs. If it doesn't specify being a recorder on the front or in the manual, it isn't a recorder.
If it doesn't have a digital tuner, your TV will have to be tuned to the channel you are recording.
