I can connect my hard drive to a USB port on my DVD player, but then the DVD player won't recognize any of the movies that I have on that hard drive.

Are the movies in the wrong format to watch through my DVD Player? What format should I convert them into?

Thank you.

I have movies of different extensions on my computer, and I need to burn DVDs to play them on the DVD player, what format does the DVD player accepts and (very important), should the DVD contains only one movie or can I put more? for the same purpose

Answer
there is one standard format, read by all DVD players
so if you want to watch files you have like .FLV, .3GP, .MOV, .AVI, or . MPEG

you can simply convert/burn them onto DVD.

I would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it for a year now, never had a problem!

It will convert your video files to the dvd format readable by all standard dvd players, then burn automatically to DVD!

it is easy to use, fast and it works perfect for me.. give it a try, you'll love it

1. Download ConvertXtoDVD here:
http://www.burner-software.com/AVI-to-DVâ¦

It can convert any video file.. like wmv, mpeg, asf, mp4, avi to dvd

2. Add or drag-n-drop as many video files as the DVD can handle

3. Insert blank DVD

4. Click "Convert"

5. Enjoy watching those video files on your home DVD player! =)

ConvertXtoDVD has a lot of extra nice features too,
for example you can make your own ANIMATED DVD menu or auto-generate it, add subtitles, auto-burn to dvd or save your conversion.

yes u can put more thn one data until the dvd is full
