My parents are going to Kerala(India) for two moths trip and I want to give them a portable DVD player with built in TV tuner(analog) as a present. I want an analog TV tuner as I donât know if digital(freeview) is available in Kerala(India).
My question is does any one know where I can purchase a portable DVD player with built in analog TV tuner?
Or does any one know if freeview(digital) receiver works in Kerala(India)?

Almost all here live in North America, predominately in the USA, and have no knowledge of television, TV products, of pricing in India! Try posting India specific questions, like this one, in Yahoo Answers International-India where you will be communicating directly with people who live there and might have the personal knowledge to help.

DVD player with Dolby Virtual Speaker and Dolby Headphone?
Roy
Hi,
I am from India. I would like to buy a DVD player with Dolby Virtual Speaker and Dolby Headphone features so can I avoid using 5.1 channel and get what I want from a 2.1 channel speaker system or from a good headphone. Could you please tell me is there any brand in India make this kind of DVD players with the mentioned codec.
If possible please also let me know is it possible to connect Logitech X530 5.1 channel speaker system to a digital coaxial connector (Out Put) of the DVD player. Is it mandatory to use a digital connector ro get Dolby out put? Can't I use a analog output? I need this information badly. Please help me out.

Suggestion, Roy: post all India specific questions in Yahoo Answers International-India, where you will be communicating directly with people who live there and might have personal knowledge that will help. Most in this forum live in North America, primarily in the USA, and have no knowledge what is available in India, or where. A large majority here, I'm sure from some of the questions and answers posted, couldn't even find India on a map!
