where can I buy a region free DVD player?

Nightwishf

because I'm looking for one.

Answer
Well Nightwishfan, I typed DVD Player - region free into the search bar and there were many choices. I tried one listed as 220-electronics and they have plenty of different models listed. The manufacturers were Panasonic, JVC, Pioneer, Toshiba, Samsung, Sony, LG and more. Prices ranged from $36.00 and up to ridiculous. They also have many Blu-ray players that are also region free listed, prices at a quick glance were $99.00 and up. Try this link below.

region free dvd players?

Ari.

I was on yesasia.com looking at dvds, that I want to buy in different languages (like Japanese, korean, etc.) Since its an Asian site. but the dvds come from a different region. USA is region 1, Japan is part of region 2, etc. So, I would need a multiregion DVD player right?

Im confused because on the site they had a multiregion one for like 600+ dollars, and the cheaper one is here

region free, does that mean if i get that one, that i will be able to watch movies from differnt regions?

Answer
There are 2 main DVD formats; NTSC and PAL. NTSC format is used by USA and some other countries, whereas PAL format is used by most of Europe and ASIA. Some PAL DVDs will not work with DVD players here in USA.

There are some DVD players that will work with both formats. Here is a deal I found for a good one:

Hope the above was helpful,

Enjoy...
