I am using the converter software to convert video to burn on a dvd but i am not sure which is the format to use to burn on my dvd so it will play on my dvd player? avi, mpeg, which one?
Answer
not converter software, there is an easy way, you can try RZ DVD Creator, it can create standard video DVD from any movies, it can directly convert and burn any videos to DVD(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-DL, DVD+DL, etc), such as avi to DVD, mpeg to DVD, wmv to DVD, flv to DVD, mp4 to DVD, etc.
Work well on my computer, easy to use, i like it. Following is a step by step guide:

What type of blank CD's do I buy to rip movies off my computer which I can play on a DVD player?
JebusJake
Do I just buy reg. blank CD's? Or do I buy some special type fit to run with a DVD player. Avi files only.
Answer
You should not need any special type of blank CD.
Do be aware that not all DVD players can play AVI files. And for the ones that can, there are some codec requirements. You can't use just any codec and for the codecs that are supported there are some limitations on what they can handle.
