Is there a portable DVD player that can also serve as an external DVD drive for my laptop?

If so, where can I buy it?

My laptop does not have an optical drive (DVD or CD-ROM). If I can buy an external DVD drive that also is a DVD player with LCD screen, I will be able to kill two birds with one stone. Of course, it would not be economically sensible if such a device costs more than a DVD-ROM and DVD player combined.

No,You have to buy one,i recommend a HP USB CD DRIVE!

If you know

Voltage (ex. 5 V DC or 12 V DC, etc.) and the amps required, then you can go to Radio Shack with player and buy a universal power adaptor.
(These values should be printed on the old adaptor or the manual)
