I was looking for a good portable dvd player for my dad as a christmas present that isn't too pricey, does anyone know of any shops online or in Glasgow that sells good ones?

What are the pros and cons of buying a more expensive DVD player compared to a cheap one?

Today, 90% of the DVD players use the same DVD processor.
Cheaper players usually support MORE media and formats. They simply skip the royalty payments!!
Assuming exactly the same features, a more expensive player may last slightly longer. At this point, I would buy the cheapest DVD player with component out. They should last long enough while I wait for the BD players to go cheaper.
