How do I download videos off youtube and watch them on a dvd player?........?

My Mission:Watch YouTube Videos On Dvd Player Using:
Programs Free Or Free For A Limited Time,Using Only DVD-R Discs,Using DVD Flick To Burn,Find A Place To download them SO.....what do i do....all the flv players i tried don't work iv'e tried wimpyflv player,applien xilsoft,divx,for dowloading off the pc's internet youtubex........i mean why does youtube not allow video s to be downloaded off there website by themselves????

I think the simplest (and free) way to download videos from youtube is this:

just go to: http://www.zamzar.net/url/

paste the url of the youtube video you want, and you can convert it to any format you want! (convert the video to the format your dvd player reads, whatever that may be)

then press convert and they'll send you the converted song in about 30min -1 hour

How do I download a Youtube video & burn onto dvd that will play in all dvd players?

I have downloaded Youtube Downloader from Download.com. But for some reason it will only transfer them into Ipod videos. It won't let me change it.

I'm trying to figure out exactly what format it has to be to play in all dvds on a burnt dvd.
Thank you all for the help. As of now, the only thing I have accomplished, besides getting frustrated & wasting time, is getting the videos from Youtube onto my computer as MP3 file.
Once I try to burn a dvd...it makes it some format that even my 2nd computer can't open?!?
I've downloaded so many programs, most of them are "free" but to convert the file you have to pay.
I wonder if there's a "Burning dvds for Dummies" book?!?!
